To celebrate the 24th we had a BBQ with my parents and the Millers, and then headed down to Spanish Fork for Fiesta Days. I was a bit nervous. Parker is only a month old and I wasn't sure how he was going to handle the fireworks but he was a champ and slept through the whole thing. It was a lot of fun hanging out with the K.Lees and actually getting out of the house. I think this was one of the first times since Parker was born that I actually did my hair and make-up.

Because the last photo shoot consisted of a ton of pictures of Parker scowling I wanted to try again. With Grandma R's help we were able to get a ton of adorable shots of this cute little guy. He has huge expressive eyes and so much hair. I love his little fingers and toes.

How can you not love pictures of sleeping baby and Daddy. The two boys in my life and I love them more than ever. As I have been posting about our lives lately I feel like a broken record, but I have so much love for my life that is bursting out and I can't help it.

Tyler has now gone back to work and we miss him like crazy. I loved having him home for a whole week. This is a good picture to describe our lived at the moment. Happy to have Parker, whiped out, luxuries (like shaving) that you take for granted go right out the window, and loving the time we have to cuddle this little guy.

Parker is two weeks old today and I am just getting his newborn shots done. I didn't have the energy to even move. Even just doing the 20 minute photo shoot wore me out. I am happy with how the pictures turned out. He is such a handsome little boy, even though he was pretty much scowling in all the pictures. He has a permanent furrowed brow when he is awake. He is just trying to figure the world out.

Grandma and Grandpa Russell drove in from Oregon to meet their newest grandson. It's so much fun watching other people love my little guy. Grandma is going to stay for two weeks to help me with the transition and give me and Tyler as much sleep as possible.
